PLATFORM

ZERO Platform

The ZERO Platform is the project’s digital learning space, bringing together all educational modules and interactive tools developed within ZERO. It offers an accessible, engaging, and user-friendly learning experience for youth workers, educators, and young people.

Designed to support self-paced learning, experimentation, and exploration, the platform combines non-formal education with digital innovation. All content is free to access and adaptable to different learning contexts, including workshops, training sessions, and independent study.

Who Is the Platform For?

The ZERO Platform is designed for:

  • Youth workers and educators

  • Young people interested in sustainability and food systems

  • Youth organisations and NGOs

  • Trainers and facilitators in non-formal education

Open Access & Long-Term Use

All content hosted on the ZERO Platform is freely accessible and will remain available beyond the project’s lifetime. This ensures the long-term use, scalability, and transferability of ZERO’s educational resources across Europe and beyond.

Learning Modules

The ZERO learning modules provide structured educational content on food waste, sustainable diets, and responsible consumption. Each module combines theory, real-life examples, and interactive activities, helping learners explore complex topics in a clear and engaging way.

The modules focus on:

  • Food waste prevention at household level

  • Sustainable and healthy food choices

  • Food systems and climate change

  • Youth participation and lifestyle change

The modules can be used individually or as part of training courses, workshops, or youth activities.

Digital Escape Room

The Digital Escape Room is an interactive, game-based learning experience developed within the ZERO project. Through a series of challenges, participants explore key topics related to food waste, nutrition, and sustainability.

The escape room encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving, while making learning fun and memorable. It is designed to boost youth engagement and motivate participants to reflect on—and improve—their everyday food choices.
